Caio Industries
Bus Media
eyemagnet have been selected to manage the distribution and management of all advertising content and media on Caio Industries buses, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Caio Industries operate 25,000 buses in Sao Paulo, which represents a significant opportunity for eyemagnet, with 2000 screens to be installed by December 2008.

A separate media company Bus Mídia has been established to administer and sell the advertising content, which is then displayed using the eyemagnet platform on up to four specially retrofitted screens per bus.

The screens are constantly being updated and the eyemagnet network is constantly connected to the internet using both 3G data networks when the buses are on the road, with larger files being updated by a designated WIFI network within the bus terminals.

GPS is used to identify the location of the bus, allowing eyemagnet to deliver location based advertising which is more relevant and more targeted. This is hugely relevant for the media companies placing the advertising as it means the screens are constantly being used to their full potential.

Telecom
Digital Signage
Telecom New Zealand is the largest telecommunications retailer in New Zealand. eyemagnet have managed the Digital Signage network in more than 120 stores on Telecom's behalf.

This partnership has allowed eyemagnet to develop into a global organization, by using their own backyard to strenuously test the software.

Telecom have recently moved to a new level in Digital Signage by adopting eyemagnet's interactive offering. It is Telecom's objective to deliver product and service information to their customers via mobile phones. Telecom has engaged eyemagnet to build and deploy Mobile Internet sites which will greatly increase a customer’s ability to access information about Telecom’s products and services.

Customers can access these sites by sending a product keyword to a specific short code. Using OnDemand, a customer can control the content on screen. A customer can respond to content in store by sending a store ID and keyword to a shorcode. This will then change the screen content in that store, and begin the download process for the customer, delivering the content to their handset and directing them to the relevant Mobile Internet site.

Tourism New Zealand
SMS Applications
In late 2007, eyemagnet were asked to develop a large interactive presence for Tourism New Zealand at The Outdoor Show in Birmingham. The focus of the campaign was to promote 9 of New Zealand's most popular walks.

Using 4 large PDP Plasma screens, eyemagnet produced an "SMS jukebox". Attendees were able to select a specific movie using SMS keywords. When the application received the keyword, the requested content was played on the screens. This application effectively turns the mobile handset into a TV remote control.

The reply SMS messages sent to the customers' phone encouraged visitors to learn more at the Tourism New Zealand stand.

eyemagnet also developed a very comprehensive and informative touch screen application which provided significant detail on each walk.

Traditional touch screens and kiosks often provide limited communication opportunities, however to increase the functionality available, eyemagnet integrated their core Digital Signage product with touch screens, creating a greatly enhanced interactive experience.

Positioned at the Tourism New Zealand stand, users could access online photos from sites such as Flickr and draw from a database of images and movie files.

The users could search for different walks depending on whether they preferred a coastal or mountain environment, or if they liked luxury accommodation or more basic facilities.

Live Concert Events (NZ)
Big Day Out
Mobile phones are everywhere, and eyemagnet has married various technologies to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the text messaging phenomenon.

The SMS voting mechanic has launched a thousand 'idols' around the world by allowing TV viewers to have their say. eyemagnet have adopted this to provide real-time feedback to international audiences.

We also provide a moderated service which allows customers' SMS messages to be posted on the large screens around the live venues.

The Big Day Out is the biggest music event in Southern Hemisphere. eyemagnet have managed the big screen interaction at the Big Day Out for the past two years.

During the 2007 and 2008 Big Day Out concerts in Auckland, eyemagnet has been an integral part of the on screen activity, moderating the SMS messages sent by the crowd before displaying SMS and MMS messages on the large screens.

In 2009, Telecom once again ran an SMS to screen application at the Big Day Out in Auckland. Lucky members of the audience gained access to a VIP area with refreshments and some much needed shade. SMS messages and photos were displayed on screen with a moderation tool used to keep the more colorful messages off the screen. Over the course of the day over 2500 messages were received.

Live Nation
Family Values Tour
During the summer of 2007, Korn and Evanescence headlined the Family Values Tour, an event which encompassed more than 30 tour dates across the United States.

eyemagnet delivered thousands of moderated SMS messages sent by fans at the concerts to the screens at the stadiums.

The audience used SMS to vote for their favourite songs. The vote determined which song should be played as part of the encore.

Recently eyemagnet has also managed concerts for Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne and most recently, New Kids on the Block.

Motion Detection
Motion Detection uses sophisticated camera technology, which captures customers' hand movements to select from a range of options on the screen in front of them.

Motion Detection has been integrated with other interactive applications and devices to create a compelling customer experience.

Virtual Dressing Room

The Virtual Dressing Room was developed to allow people to see how clothes looked without actually trying them on - something no one actually enjoys doing!

Developed as a proof of concept for a New Zealand retailer using eyemagnet's Motion Detection Technology, the user stands in front of a virtual mirror and selects different clothes using hand gestures. The clothes are then displayed on an image of the customer on the screen.

The application then takes a screen shot of the customer in their new outfit and the generated images can be sent to a mobile phone or to a website. The items of the clothes they have selected are tallied, catalogued, tallied and integrated with the retailer's online shopping website.

Unilever
Lynx3
eyemagnet were asked to bring the Lynx3 above the line TVCs to life. Using Motion Detection, eyemagnet enabled the user to select two preferred women who then collided together to create a third, more glamorous woman.

When the user had selected the new woman, they then posed on screen and we created an image of them and their new dream woman.

The campaign was run at five sites concurrently. eyemagnet used their Digital Signage platform to manage and monitor the activity.

This campaign brought together the key applications developed by eyemagnet to create a compelling and innovative campaign that was perfect for the Lynx3 brand and their target market.

Gold's Gym
SqueezeTV
eyemagnet and their wholly owned network Sports and Fitness Interactive have begun the installation of their SqueezeTV™ application in Golds Gyms, starting with the South Beach area of Miami.

SqueezeTV allows regular broadcast TV to be viewed in conjunction with L shaped advertising wrapped around the edge of the screen. The broadcast TV content maintains its 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio and is not distorted or reformatted.

15 second spots are available, with the screen showing 45 seconds of full screen broadcast media and then 15 seconds of advertising as well as broadcast TV in the smaller window. This allows gym owners and advertisers to promote their products and services without interrupting the game!

SqueezeTV can run on any screen but of course looks best on a full HD 16:9 screen. Such is the enthusiasm within Golds Gym, there are immediate plans to install projectors and screens to accommodate this new feature and introduce external advertisers to this new channel.

Gold's Gym members are a very desirable demographic and the South Florida Alliance have approved the roll out to their members meaning advertisers can target this desirable DMA of nearly 500,000 eyeballs per month.
