In addition to an expert banker team, Westpac has the latest technology and skilled hosts to ensure a friendly enjoyable experience. With free wifi, use of iPads, tablets and a technology help zone for online and mobile banking, the focus is on customer engagement, self-help and education around banking technology services, products and applications.
The street frontage provided by Eyemagnet is completely digital, featuring images, displays and innovative content on 14 LED and high-definition screens; and the interior has been fitted for the sea-side city of Auckland.
Local businesses are profiled in an area of the branch, and team uniforms are designed by one of New Zealand’s up-and-coming fashion stars and the inaugural winner of Westpac Young Fashion Designer Competition in 2010, Jess Britten.
Respect is also paid to their heritage and local iwi, Ngati Whatua, in elements of the branch design, such as the carving on the log seats. This beautiful carving is reflective of the pattern on our Maui carving that has pride of place at entrance to the Westpac on Takutai office building just up the road.
Westpac's business is about these partnerships, continuing to being part of the community and growing with it.
